Surrealist Monsters

















Students were taught about the Surrealist Movement

Artist Focus: Joan Miro
Various Grade levels (elementary and high school special ed students)

Each student had to make their own Surrealist Monster, making sure to cover 4 criteria:
1. Using a piece of yarn to create an organic base shape
2. The monster needed a way to move
3. The monster had to have an all over pattern
4. The monster needed at least one eye
